Again ty for the info.. yes I trade writing to the shared housing 2 times! The address for SC the email got kicked back both times as undeliverable mail. :(

I will try once more or call, I only have a cell and my amount of calls are very limited. That way because I can't afford a big cell bill. For my pets, this is awesome and will surely try to contact someone to take them. They are both the sweetest dogs, and plus they both love each other so much. Placing them not together will be a crime in itself.

Thing is I don't have time to be placed on another list HOPING to get housing. I have started to pack up what I can as I expect the bank here any day to say ok move out.

Sadly even from the information that was given, there has been no help. I am really pulling on strings here. Now tomorrow I must take my 2 pets ( dogs) to the local SPCA. I have had them both for 8 years. I can't even afford to feed them now. This will break my heart probably as much as a mother losing her own children. Extreme? No... when they have been your source of comfort for so long.

I found a place but they want 500.00 deposit, then rent of 450.00$ the of course utilities.  I called housing again begging please, but they say emergancy is fire, flood etc. being homeless ISN'T a emerg! esp. at age 53.. it's honestly sad, when I have shown everything to them to prove what my husband did, have proven medical issues. Still no help.. just " Your on the list"!

I have no family, and medically I would not be able to stand a shelter.  Please any help is appricated here. If anyone knows even someone that might have a room, I can help with $200.00 a month food, even pay a small rent.

Reads all the other post and see's so many in worse shape then myself I feel almost horrible even posting here. God bless you all, and I do wish the best and hope your world becomes a better place.

Starshine, thank you for the awesome information! I will surely check all this out. Keeps my fingers crossed, but I am really getting worried each day. I haven't gotten any notice from the bank yet not sure I will even know until they come knocking on the door. He is keeping everything so private.  Sad after 8 years of marriage. But this I can not focuse on, my own well being is at state atm.

Thank you khogan for the words. It is even harder when you can't get around well. Then to be 53 also doesn't help.  Sure that is still considered young but not when you have major back issues. I can only pray my disablitiy is approved but I still have months before that happens. In the mean time I have 0 money to even get a place. Govenment housing here says 6 month -3 years.. I have searched til there is no where else to search.

As I was scanning the net despert on trying to find a way to get some income to find housing I ran across Aid. Back a few years ago ( 3) I had to have major back surgery. 3 steel rods later and 7 weeks later I had to have a 2nd surgery because one of the rods popped out of the bone graph. 

Well the day of my surgery my husband decided to inform me he was seeing another woman. Nice huh!  Since then, he has moved out. I was lucky at the time and wise and had started a savings back then. There was no possible way I could work, and still can not because of the daily pain I live with.

He has kept the bills going some what up til about 6 months ago, and I have used all my savings now. The bank happen to send a letter to the house by accident that he had let the house go into forecloser.  I have no family ( I am 54), no where to go. I am sure any day now the bank will come to tell me to move out.

He is uncaring and isn't offering any help for me finacally to find a place. I have put in for disablity but even that will take at least a year. I do, do some online money making but that is  VERY slow and maybe I might make $100.00 a month. Food stamps has been helpful.

I live in South Carolina, and would almost at this point be willing to move anywhere that would be willing to help me with a home. All I need is a small place, even a room and bath and kitchen. I can not pay much as you see. But I don't want to end up on the street.

Please, anyone can help me. Our state does offer house which I have applied for. But that they say can take 6 months to 3 years!.  I don't know where else to turn.  I can help someone with being a live in childcare or even aid with elderly care. But I am myself limited by my back.  Only thing I need is internet to keep my small business going.

Please, any suggestions .......... tears from South Carolina.

I must add, the bank would not help me keep the house nor could I. Mainly because of money but also because the house is only in his name. The home was willied to him when his parents passed. So, speaking to the bank  wouldn't do much good I think.
